i thought my 21st b-day was going to be a bust, but it ended up turning out nice. mariana took me out for drinks. we ended up eating appetizers and having a couple of cadillac margaritas at el torito grill's bar. we talked and had some laughs. then we walked around rodeo for a while, and headed back to school. wehn i got back i headed up to yagmur's room where she had a little rum cake for me and tried to get me wasted. i was firm, though, and preserved my virtue. :)
so it wasn't a huge drunken orgy, but it was good. let's be practical, though. my birthday landed on the week before finals. what did i expect?
